An academy guide for parents
The academy offers college preparatory courses which will lead to admission in various professional colleges both in India and abroad including USA. SAT and TOEFEL tests are offered for those applying to USA. IELTS are offered for those applying to UK. EMCET/IIT tests are offered for those students who want admission into Medical/Engeneering colleges in India.
Academy offers admissions from Pre - K to 12. Transfer students are accepted when vacancies arise in any grade. Admissions are open to talented students only and interested students or parents can apply directly to Dean with students Bio-Data.
Admission requirements include a written test and a personal interview with the student and parent. For students from other countries admission test is given after admission as part of admitting process.
Medical examination certificate by Family physician and physical fitness certificate along with all current immunization records should be submitted at the time of admission and orientation. In addition to routine immunizations, all students will require Typhoid, Hepatitis A & B and Meningococal meningitis vaccines. Children with Asthma and allergy problems should bring their medications and necessary medical records
Parents meeting
Parents visit the campus once a month to see their children. The Principal with his teachers will discuss the progress of the children on both academic and pastoral matters. Sports and cultural events are arranged during parents visit. Accommodation is available for parents to stay overnight at the campus for a nominal fee. Parents will be invited for important events at the school.
Health
A full pledged clinic is available on the campus and local doctor sees the sick children on request. All children are admitted to the campus after Doctors certificate with all immunization are given.
Dress
Students should have school uniforms, PE outfits and ceremonial jackets for attending the school.
Leave of absence
Absences are authorized for illness, essential appointments and family commitments. Advance notification should be given to the office regarding absence as soon as possible.
Telephone
Students are allowed to call home once a month on Sundays. Parents can call the academy during regular school hours for any emergencies. After school hours, parents can leave a message on the answering machine. E-mails are allowed for both parents and students.
