Solid IMSA Representation On 60-Entry List For 24 Hours Of Le Mans

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship has a strong representation on the 60-car, 180-driver final entry list for the Le Mans 24 Hours, announced on Wednesday by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO). The United States leads the entry list for the prestigious endurance race on June 18-19 with 12 cars, 10 of which compete in the WeatherTech Championship.

Fresh from a breakthrough victory in the most recent round of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian is pleased to announce that the team will race in Detroit’s IMSA Sports Car Classic on June 4th with the No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Honda-powered Ligier.

Michael Shank Racing’s full team will be based in Europe starting in the end of May, and the IMSA outing will be made in parallel with the Ohio-based team's preparations for its 24 Hours of Le Mans debut on June 18-19.

Onroak Automotive Has Launched The Construction Of The First Ligier JS P217

In keeping with the schedule established by the ACO, the FIA and IMSA for the four official constructors in the 2017 LM P2 programme, the Onroak Automotive design office sent off the CAD files for its new sports prototype for validation of the bodywork and the mechanical elements at the end of March after dispatching those for the monocoque in January.

But he finished ninth in both the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Homestead-Miami Speedway, sixth at Barber Motorsports Park and fifth at New Jersey.
