IMSA Regulars Staying Busy This Weekend at Indianapolis, Nurburgring

The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) will have a new U.S. broadcast home for its flagship IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, what is currently known as the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge and the IMSA Prototype Challenge Presented by Mazda as NBC Sports Group and IMSA today announced a six-year partnership starting with the 2019 season.

Champions of the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will be honored less than 24 hours after the season concludes with the Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, as International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) officials today announced that WeatherTech Night of Champions will be held on Sunday evening Oct. 14.

France Family to be Honored with IMRRC's 2018 Argetsinger Award

The France Family, along with Jim France, will be honored on June 28 by the International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC) with the 2018 Cameron R. Argetsinger Award for Outstanding Contributions to Motorsports. 

The 2018 award will be the fifth presented by the IMRRC. Chip Ganassi was the inaugural recipient in 2014. Richard Petty and Roger Penske were honorees in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Mario Andretti was cited in 2017.
