Skullcandy Team Nissan announced its plans for the 2014 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season Tuesday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

After two years of running at the sharp end of the ST pack with its two Nissan Altima Coupes, the team will add a third car for the GS class. Continuing the relationship with Nissan, the brand's 370Z is the natural choice.

“Our team is getting ever stronger, the series is growing and this is a natural next step," said team owner/driver Lara Tallman. "We look forward to the challenge of racing the other side of the field and running at the head of the entire pack, The 370Z is a great platform and we expect to trouble the regular suspects. The continued support of our long standing partners has allowed us to progress and we certainly don't aim to disappoint.

"We are hard at work putting the finishing touches to this program and sorting out the driver lineup for all 3 cars. Running for the championship in both classes is our goal.”
