Engineered Automotive and Porsche Centre North Toronto Partner for the 2019 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada

Engineered Automotive, the providers of quality products and services for all aspects of motoring needs for over 20 years, has partnered with Porsche Centre North Toronto to campaign for a 2019 Porsche GT3 Cup car.

Committing to a full season with Car 14, Michael Fantin will pilot. Fantin most recently raced in the 2018 Ultra 94 GT3 Cup Challenge, placing 7th. Porsche Centre North Toronto and EA look forward to a successful and mutually beneficial partnership.

The agreement was signed by John Cappella, Managing Director of Porsche Centre North Toronto, and Billy Smilovsky, Managing Director of Engineered Automotive. “ Motorsport is at the heart of the Porsche brand so we are proud to be sponsoring Engineered Automotive, an organization with an extraordinary sports car and motorsport history, with its entry in the Porsche GT3 Cup Canada Challenge. We look forward to supporting Michael and the team in the exciting 2019 season ahead,” said Cappella.

Engineered Automotive’s Billy Smilovsky and his son Kurt Smilovsky (Crew Chief) are no strangers to Porsche racing, with roots dating back to Rothman’s Porsche Turbo Cup in the late 80s. They’ve given full Porsche Club of America support for multiple cars and drivers, campaigning for Michael Fantin’s successful integration in 2018.The new 2019 GT3 Cup car is currently on display at the Porsche Centre North Toronto showroom, ready for all to see, now through January 2019.

August 2-4: Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, USA*
September 27-29: Circuit Mont-Tremblant, Mont-Tremblant, Quebec
