DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – AO Racing is set for its fourth season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and third straight with its two cars split between one Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and one Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) entry, in 2026.
The team’s No. 77 Porsche 911 GT3 R will return to GTD PRO with its No. 99 ORECA LMP2 07 in LMP2.
AO Racing won the 2024 WeatherTech Championship GTD PRO driver and team championships in its first year in the category, with its Porsche 911 GT3 “Rawr” called either “Rexy” or “Roxy.” Meanwhile, “Spike, the LMP2 Dragon” is leading the LMP2 championship heading into the 2025 Motul Petit Le Mans season finale this year. This week, both cars are running a special Halloween-themed “Skeleton” themed livery.
