DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Topp Racing has announced that rising American driver Avery Towns will join the team for the upcoming Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season, marking an exciting new chapter for both the young driver and the growing program.
Towns, a 22-year-old driver from Dallas, Texas, has steadily built experience across multiple forms of motorsport as he continues to climb the professional racing ladder. His career includes time in the highly competitive USF2000 and USF Pro 2000 championships, where he competed with Exclusive Autosport while gaining valuable experience on some of North America’s most iconic circuits.
In addition to his open-wheel background, Towns has also begun transitioning into sports car racing, competing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, one of the premier one-make GT championships in the world. Competing in a few races in 2025, Towns drove to a couple of top-ten finishes in a part-time effort. Now set for a full-time campaign in the series that features identical Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 race cars, Towns has his sights solely set on results and the opportunity to progress.
“I’m incredibly excited to join Topp Racing and compete in Lamborghini Super Trofeo,” explained Towns. “This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a great team and continue developing as a driver. The Lamborghini platform is an incredible car, and I’m looking forward to learning as much as possible and pushing for strong results throughout the season.”
For Topp Racing, bringing Towns into the lineup represents the team’s continued focus on developing young talent while building a competitive presence in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo paddock.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Avery to Topp Racing,” added TJ Reynolds, Team Manager for Topp Racing. “He’s a motivated young driver who has already shown strong potential through his experience in the USF ladder system and his early sports car starts. We’re excited to work together and help him continue progressing in GT racing.”
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship runs alongside major IMSA race weekends and visits premier circuits across the United States and Canada, providing drivers with a highly competitive environment and significant exposure within the international sports car racing community.
