Montour Records Fourth Straight Pole in TCR for Honda

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Hannah Grisham has won Heart of Racing Team’s third straight pole for either herself or Hannah Greenemeier in the all-Hannah lineup aboard the team’s No. 26 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO.
Similar to Greenemeier’s at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, a red flag interrupted the 15-minute session at Road America but Grisham was still able to set the pace. With a best lap of 2:14.505 (108.343 mph) around the 4.048-mile circuit, Grisham has her second Motul Pole Award of the season.
Now the job is improving upon a best finish of sixth in Grand Sport (GS) in Saturday’s Road America 120, Round 7 of the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season.
“It’s really exciting with Hannah’s at Canada, and now me doubling at Road America,” Grisham said. “It’s one of my favorite tracks. We were saved a bit by the bell from the red flag, but the car was really amazing today.
“It was overcast skies, and cooler temps help our car. All the crew at Heart of Racing have done such a great job. It’s amazing to be here in IMSA and looking forward to tomorrow and hoping to close the deal!”
The No. 60 KohR Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4, qualified by Evan Slater, will start second after he qualified just 0.042 of a second off the pole. He’ll share the car with Mike Skeen. The No. 23 Koch-Copeland Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 will start third, qualified by Ford Koch with Jaxon Bell due to finish.
GS championship leaders Robert Noaker and Nate Cicero will roll off fourth in the No. 13 McCumbee McAleer Racing Ford Mustang GT4. Cicero won the pole and he and Jenson Altzman won last year’s race here. Altzman is set to participate in Sunday’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix, the six-hour race aboard the No. 16 Myers Riley Motorsports Ford Mustang GT3.
LP Montour, meanwhile, secured his third straight and Honda’s fourth consecutive pole in Touring Car (TCR). The driver of the No. 93 MMG Honda Civic FL5 TCR set a flyer of 2:16.128 (107.451 mph) early and held on from there ahead of a similar Honda fielded by KMW Motorsport by TMR Engineering, qualified by Rocco Pasquarella. Montour will share the No. 93 Honda with Karl Wittmer; Pasquarella his No. 5 Honda with Tim Lewis Jr.
TCR championship leaders Bryson Morris and Mason Filippi start third in their No. 33 Bryan Herta Autosport with Curb Agajanian Hyundai Elantra N TCR, ahead of the first Audi on the grid from Baker Racing (Sam Baker and James Vance, No. 52 Audi RS3 LMS TCR). Morris scored his first Michelin Pilot Challenge win at Road America last year, sharing the No. 33 Hyundai with veteran Mark Wilkins.
