Lime Rock Park

As one of the oldest tracks of its kind and the only circuit that remains exactly the same as when it opened in 1957, Connecticut’s Lime Rock Park is often noted as the most significantly historic road racing courses in North America. Lime Rock has hosted many of the races that have forever changed the face of motorsports in America.

Almost all the sport’s greats have raced here, from Formula Libre through the SCCA hay days of the 1960s, 70s and 80s in Can-Am, F5000, Trans-Am and Atlantic as well as the IMSA Camel GTP and ALMS championships.

At 1.50 miles of up hill and down dale, the track looks deceivingly simple but is immensely challenging to drive quickly.

Just as fans admire the racing, they are equally drawn to the natural beauty of the surrounding hills. Not a hint of a grandstand but tremendous spectator viewing in a park setting.

Parking is free, paddock access is free, and youths 16 and under are admitted free with accompanying adult(s). With acceptable identification, veterans and active military are admitted free.
