DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Three program announcements for the 2027 IMSA season have hit in the run-up to this year’s Motul Petit Le Mans.
On Friday last week, CSM (Czabok Simpson Motorsport) confirmed Ismaeel Ellahi would step up to a full-season in its No. 2 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Grand Sport (GS).
Two IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship programs followed.
First, Ford Racing confirmed an unchanged lineup of Dennis Olsen and Ben Barker (No. 64) and Frederic Vervisch and Christopher Mies (No. 65) in its pair of Ford Mustang GT3s racing in Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO).
Second, Bartone Bros. Racing with GetSpeed increased its program from Rolex 24 At Daytona only for a full IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup effort in GTD PRO. Anthony Bartone and Fabian Schiller are the first two named drivers of the No. 69 Mercedes-AMG GT3.
