DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Looking for that perfect last-minute holiday gift for the ultimate IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship fan? Well, here it is – an actual, race-winning Daytona Prototype international (DPi) car complete and ready to go!
The No. 10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-05 that Wayne Taylor Racing co-drivers Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor raced to four victories and a second-place finish in the DPi class this year is up for auction on BringATrailer.com. The complete auction listing for the car is here.
It’s a low-mileage beauty with a one-of-a-kind pedigree. The car logged 11,464 track miles this year and collected wins at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Watkins Glen International and Road America. It remains in the same condition as it was at the checkered flag of the final race of the season, the Motul Petit Le Mans, complete with signs of minor race damage sustained in the 10-hour marathon.
Included in the deal are the 3.5-liter, twin-turbo V-6 engine from Honda Performance Development, six-speed sequential gearbox, Brembo six-piston brake calipers with AP carbon brake rotors, Cosworth electronics, McLaren ECU and much more. With minor modifications, the car is ready to take to the track once again.
Even the number of the ORECA carbon-fiber chassis – 007 – speaks to how intriguing, rare and special the car is. But it’s definitely not “For Your Eyes Only.” Co-driver Taylor highlighted some of the car’s other perks in a social media post.

The car marks a pivot point in WeatherTech Championship history as it raced in the final season of DPi competition before the series transitions to the Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class with hybrid-based LMDh cars starting in 2023. The No. 10 entry helped Acura capture the final DPi manufacturer’s championship this past season.
At last check, the leading bid for the car was $350,000. The auction closes on Dec. 23, so get those bids in soon!
