ROBERT NOAKER, Dark Horse Class Champion No. 13 Robert Noaker Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DH) – “The race couldn’t have gone any better. We got a great start and pulled off. When the guys behind you start battling, you can’t ask for anything better than that. Managing the tires was the biggest thing. We were set up for a short run pace, but got green again for the full 45 minutes. It’s great to be green the whole way and let everything sort itself out. I’m racing with great teammates, who are all able to run up front. This team keeps on putting in hard work and gives us the equipment to go out in win. Special thanks to Red Line Oil and OBHOA, having them along for the journey is amazing. It’s not often someone can be a first time champion for a series, I’m super excited, I don’t really have words for it.”

“Ford put in a lot of work in the series. Especially being able to go to a dealership and order parts there makes a huge difference. The race specific details are well put together as well as the cars. It allows us to go out and race a fast car for relatively cheap, that’s a major strong point for the series.”

TYLER MAXSON, No. 74 Robert Noaker Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DH) – “Not exactly the way we wanted it to go. We still finished second today and second in the championship at the end of the day. I would have liked to give Robert [Noaker] a little bit of a closer fight for it. We’re moving on to next year. Congrats to Robert on the championship, it was hard fought all year. The race was a bit frustrating, since I could see Robert getting away, by the time I was able to clear my battle, it was a little too late to catch back up. We had really good speed in the car, and had a great race overall. All things considered, we got the best out of it we could.”

JEREMY FLETCHER – No. 22 McCumbee McAleer Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DH) – “It was dicey, had a little bit of contact. Sometimes you have to pinch them down and do what you have to do, be as aggressive as you can. The McCumbee McAleer guys are so supportive behind me, as well as the Holster Store and Home Restoration Exchange. These guys help me to come out here and live my dream, so I’ll do whatever it takes to get that top step and to the championship. Hopefully I can come back next year and help support Ford.”

ALFONSO DIAZ – No. 15 TechSport Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DHL) – “Race two was excellent. We started P1 in class. I was able to drive consistently, and not have to fight too much. I’m really happy with the car, it had a great setup thanks to TechSport Racing. Huge thanks to Cantera Carraizo, one of my sponsors back home, they deserve all the credit. My first weekend in Mustang Challenge was great, I’m really looking forward to next year, this is a really fun series.”

ALEX BACHOURA, Dark Horse Legends Class Champion No. 33 Spark Performance Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DHL) – “I’ve been very fortunate to be here. I want to thank Ford, IMSA, and Sparks Performance for everything they have done for me. It’s been a great series and a fantastic time. This is one of the most fun series I’ve been in. I missed my flight earlier this week, so I missed qualifying and practice time, so Race 1 was my practice. I just needed to beat Stillwagon for the Championship. Half way through the race I got spun out and had to work my way back. Luckily Stillwagon made some mistakes and we were able to race side by side. It’s probably the most exciting race I’ve ever done. The last five laps were so exciting, we were equal, he’s a great driver, and I have a lot of respect for him. I got super lucky, and sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Thank you Ford for everything, I’m definitely coming back next year, this is a great time.”

MIKE STILLWAGON – No. 19 Skip Barber Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DHL) – “The race literally had its ups and downs. We started P2 and held onto it for the majority of the race. We hit a little bit of traffic causing a delay, for P3 to catch up then going back and forth a few times. Alex Bachoura ended up getting by me after I gained a decent gap. We were door to door on the start/finish line. That was the battle for the championship. I have my family here this weekend, the car owner, Carree Larsen. Thanks to my kids for their support. It was a great year, a bit challenging, I guess that’s why they call it the Mustang Challenge. Thanks to Skip Barber Racing school, giving me great support all season long, I would have expected nothing less, I appreciate everything they did.”

Chloe Chambers, who announced her partnership with Ford Performance and Red Bull Racing for the 2025 F1 Academy season, gave her thoughts about the race. Chambers placed 8th in class in the Red Bull Ford Mustang Dark Horse R.

CHLOE CHAMBERS, No. 3 Spark Performance Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DH) – “Today’s race went well. I started up a bit higher and was able to hold up front. I had fun racing this weekend, I don’t drive these cars a lot so I had to put in the work. The racing in this is really fun, you’re always battling someone out there and if you’re not, you can still see people around you. I’m looking forward to the 2025 season with the Red Bull Ford Academy Program and getting things started.”
