Salvatore Wins Back-to-Back at Mid-Ohio

LEXINGTON, Ohio – Paolo Salvatore returned to the top step of the podium in race two at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course after a race-long battle for the Dark Horse Legends lead.

 

Devin Anderson took the lead in the Dark Horse class at the beginning of the race, and he remained in the lead for the rest of the race, putting a small gap between himself and second-place finisher Cole Loftsgard at the checkered flag.

 

In Dark Horse Legends, the fight for the win was incredibly close. Joseph Dederichs led early in the race, and then Paolo Salvatore took the lead. Salvatore defended against challenges from second-place finisher Tom Tait and Chris Clarke to bring home his second win of the weekend at Mid-Ohio.

PAOLO SALVATORE, No. 84 Torre Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DHL) – “I just kept my focus forward and did what I had to do to bring home another win. We had some great battles in the Dark Horse Legends class. There were three or four of us in contention for the win the whole race. It was an incredible weekend and my Ford Mustang Dark Horse R felt great.”
