Tait Wins Mid-Ohio Race Two After Post-Race Penalty for Salvatore

Provisional Results (Race 2)

LEXINGTON, Ohio – Paolo Salvatore crossed the finish line first in the second race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, but Tom Tait was named the Dark Horse Legends winner after Salvatore was given a 28-second post race drive through penalty for incident responsibility.

Devin Anderson took the lead in the Dark Horse class at the beginning of the race, and he remained in the lead for the rest of the race, putting a small gap between himself and second-place finisher Cole Loftsgard (Race 1 Recap) at the checkered flag.

In Dark Horse Legends, the fight for the win was incredibly close. Joseph Dederichs led early in the race, and then Paolo Salvatore took the lead. Salvatore defended against challenges from eventual winner Tait and Chris Clarke.
