Rounding Up a Flurry of Watkins Glen Lineup Tweaks

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – There are several lineup tweaks set for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen next week, the third IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup round of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Here’s a recap of those that have been announced:

JDC-Miller Confirms Heinrich’s Presence at The Glen

Laurin Heinrich will race at Watkins Glen after all in the No. 5 JDC-Miller MotorSports Porsche 963 in Grand Touring Prototype (GTP). He looked set to race the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. He’ll share the No. 5 car with Tijmen van der Helm and the returning Kaylen Frederick.

Manthey Returns With Adjusted Lineup

As some of its drivers are at Spa, Manthey brings in three either new or returning faces to its No. 911 and 912 Porsche 911 GT3 Rs. Michael Christensen and Loek Hartog join Klaus Bachler in “Grello,” the No. 911 Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO). Richard Lietz is back in the No. 912 Manthey 1st Phorm car with Ryan Hardwick and Riccardo Pera in Grand Touring Daytona (GTD).

Magnus Back with Farnbacher in Third Seat

The No. 44 Magnus Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo brings back Mario Farnbacher, a two-time GTD champion, to its car alongside John Potter and Spencer Pumpelly.

Rueda Debuts in Conquest Third Seat

Fran Rueda joins the Conquest Racing lineup. He’ll share the No. 34 Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO with Albert Costa and Lorenzo Patrese.

Additional Notes

  • Third drivers Frederik Vesti (No. 31 Cadillac Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R) and Kaku Ohta (No. 93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian) are back in GTP.
  • Alec Udell joins Af Corse USA’s No. 21 Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO lineup in GTD.
