WESTFIELD, Indiana – Era Motorsport is excited to welcome Christian Rasmussen and Nick Boulle to the No. 18 ORECA LMP2 07 for this weekend’s TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, September 18-20.
Boulle will make his Era Motorsport debut in Indianapolis, returning to Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) competition for the first time since the 2025 Battle on the Bricks.
Rasmussen returns to Era after helping the team claim LMP2 victory at the 2024 Rolex 24 At Daytona alongside Ryan Dalziel, Dwight Merriman and Connor Zilisch. The INDYCAR driver previously competed with Era from the 2022 Petit Le Mans through Daytona in 2024.
“I have been out of an LMP2 car and competition for a year, so it may take me a bit to warm up, but I’m super excited by the challenge we have coming up this weekend,” Boulle said.
“I’m particularly looking forward to getting to work with Era Motorsport. I know Kyle Tilley puts together a great car and the team has clearly executed well in the past, so this was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.
“This coming together for Indianapolis Motor Speedway could not have worked out better. It’s an iconic circuit that also happens to be one of my favorite tracks.”
“I’m excited to be back with my friends at Era for Battle on the Bricks,” Rasmussen said. “I have a lot of great memories with this team, especially winning the Rolex 24 together in 2024. I’m also really looking forward to working with Nick. I think we have a strong lineup, and I’m confident we’ll be able to fight right at the front.”
The two-hour, 40-minute Battle on the Bricks marks Era Motorsport’s fourth IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship appearance at its home circuit since Indianapolis returned to the series schedule in 2023.
With the 2026 season entering its final stages, Rasmussen and Boulle will join Era as the team looks to add another strong result at the Motorsport Capital of the World before turning its attention to the season-ending Motul Petit Le Mans.
