DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – This year’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals in Monza will serve as a grand sendoff to the iconic Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 race car and the 2026 seasons itself, including a Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America two-race finale where multiple championships remain on the line.
The shift from Indianapolis Motor Speedway (above) to Autodromo Nazionale Monza spans two tracks with two of the best track monikers – the “Racing Capitol of the World” and “Temple of Speed,” respectively – as the 5.2L naturally aspirated V10s are set to scream for the final time in Super Trofeo competition before the new Temerario Super Trofeo premieres in 2027.
Competitors in the North American, European and Asian Super Trofeo championships will conclude their specific seasons on Thursday and Friday before all three championships covering all four classes – Pro, ProAm, Am and LB Cup – convene together starting Saturday for the World Finals themselves.
Owing to this weekend being on European home turf, European teams will run two-digit numbers while North American teams will run three, adding the number 1 in front of their usual North American two-digit numbers, and 10 if a single-digit number (No. 1 to No. 101, No. 10 to No. 110, etc.).

The two North America season finale races are Thursday at 2:45 p.m. local time (8:45 a.m. ET) and Friday at 9:30 a.m. local time (3:30 a.m. ET), with the World Finals races Saturday and Sunday. Those are split Pro/ProAm and Am/LB Cup covering all regions. Races stream via the official Lamborghini YouTube channel.
The field of 31 cars (split 8 Pro, 9 ProAm, 8 Am and 6 LB Cup) keeps fairly in line with the North American season average of 37.6 cars. It’s also up 9 cars compared to 2025, when 22 North American entries made the trip to Misano.
Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America saw two of its four class championships wrapped on North American soil last time out at Indianapolis. In ProAm, Danny Formal and Graham Doyle (No. 110 Wayne Taylor Racing Huracán) have won eight of 10 races and locked up the ProAm title with three races to spare. Meanwhile in Am, David Staab (No. 148 Precision Performance Motorsports Huracán) has secured that title for on the heels of his consistency with 10 podiums in 10 starts, including two wins.
It leaves the Pro and LB Cup titles up for grabs this week, with the top three mathematically alive in Pro and the top two contending in LB Cup.
Pro: De La Torre, Bamber and Ericsson/Persing Square Off
In Pro, Elias De La Torre (No. 129 TR3 Racing Huracán) leads Will Bamber (No. 133 XONINE Racing Huracán) by 17 points and Hampus Ericsson and Nick Persing (No. 101 Wayne Taylor Racing Huracán) by 25 points. A maximum 32 points are available for the last two races – 15 apiece for the two wins and one additional per pole in the two qualifying sessions.
If De La Torre keeps that 17-point lead without change leaving Thursday’s Race 1, he’ll clinch the Pro title. Bamber can close into it, provided he finishes ahead of De La Torre and his co-driver Dennis Lind.
The No. 101 pairing of Ericsson, last year’s Pro champion both in North America and the World Finals with Danny Formal, and Persing will need to close at least 10 and likely 11 or more points in Race 1 to remain alive as they are behind on a potential tiebreaker. De La Torre has five wins this year, Bamber has four, and Ericsson and Persing have two.
LB Cup: Bolduc vs. Touchette for Title
LB Cup has the tightest championship battle, with just five points separating first from second and this quite likely to go to Friday’s Race 2. Rocky T. Bolduc (No. 199 Topp Racing, Huracán) leads Philippe Touchette (No. 111 TB Autosports Huracán) heading into the weekend. Bolduc has four wins to Touchette’s two this season.
Bolduc swept both of the LB Cup North America races in last year’s World Final weekend for a different team at another Italian circuit, Misano. Touchette, meanwhile, has proven one of the top competitors in his first Super Trofeo season and will look to secure a championship.
While the championships in ProAm and Am are sorted, the battle for second place in both classes is hotly contested.
ProAm and Am: Intense Battles for Second
In ProAm, 18 points cover four pairings heading into the first race of the weekend.
Seth Henry and Wyatt Foster (No. 144 Kaizen Autosport Huracán) won in Race 2 at Indianapolis to leap into second in points with 88. They’re three points ahead of Lindsay Brewer and Keawn Tandon (No. 177 Forty7 Motorsports Huracán), 13 ahead of Mateo Siderman and Martin Fuentes (No. 163 TR3 Racing Huracán) and 18 ahead of Chloe Chambers and Ian Porter (No. 102 RAFA Racing Huracán). Chambers and Porter will have their RAFA Racing teammate, Tyler Gonzalez, on hand to coach and support during the weekend (Monza World Final photo above is courtesy of RAFA Racing).
A similar battle for second in Am sees 16 points cover five drivers.
Dean Neuls (No. 170 TR3 Racing Huracán) sits second with 89 points, with Gabriel Holguin (No. 145 Precision Performance Motorsports Huracán) third on 82, Johan Schwartz (No. 189 89x Motorsports Huracán) fourth on 79, Anthony Bullock (No. 112 XONINE Racing Huracán) fifth on 76 and Nick Groat (No. 157 XONINE Racing Huracán) sixth on 73. Any of those six could emerge as best of the rest behind Staab this weekend.
It all adds up to a special weekend to cap off the Lamborghini Super Trofeo season where North American entries will again look to prove themselves among or as the best on the global stage.
