PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE USA PARTNER GLOBAL MEDICAL RESPONSE

Global Medical Response Overview
With more than 38,000 employees, Global Medical Response teams  deliver compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in the areas of emergency and patient relocation services, in the United States, the District of Columbia and around the world. GMR was formed by combining the industry leaders in air, ground, managed medical transportation, and community, industrial/specialty and wildland fire services. Each of our companies have long histories of proudly serving the communities where we live: American Medical Response (AMR), Rural Metro Fire, Air Evac Lifeteam, REACH Air Medical Services, Med-Trans Corporation, AirMed International and Guardian Flight.

Combined, we completed 4.9 million patient transports last year utilizing 7,000 ground vehicles, 111 fire vehicles, 306 rotor-wing aircraft and 106 fixed-wing aircraft. We are the largest medical transportation company in the world, focusing on intimate and high-service solutions at a local level. With the extensive resources and experience of Global Medical Response, we are able to work with our partners to develop integrated solutions to patient transportation that cover ground, helicopter and fixed-wing modalities.

These different solutions are provided to our partners with just one call, simplifying the request process and allowing healthcare providers to continue focusing their efforts on patient care.

In January 2019, Global Medical Response announced its partnership with IMSA to expand the capabilities of IMSA’s medical support model. Under a multi-year agreement, GMR’s ground ambulance business, AMR, will be the Official Emergency Medical Services partner of IMSA’s WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Michelin Pilot Challenge and Prototype Challenge. Through this partnership, AMR expands its history of delivering EMS services to motorsports sanctioning bodies which also includes NASCAR and IndyCar. Since 2017, AMR has been the provider of on-track EMS services to NASCAR and in 2018 became the official sponsor of the IndyCar Safety Team.

This partnership with IMSA is a continuation of AMR’s long-standing program to provide medical services to sporting events as well as major concert and civic venues across the country. AMR’s commitment to motorsports safety and provision of state-of-the art care is a key example of what is possible by working in conjunction with the various sanctioning groups, tracks and local medical providers.
