IMSA MICHELIN PILOT CHALLENGE
From the showroom to the speedway, the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge is IMSA’s showcase for the latest in American-made and imported high-performance sports cars, coupes, hatchbacks and sedans. This series is home to the same cars seen on streets and highways around the world and offers racing in two classes – Grand Sport (GS) and Touring Car Racing (TCR) – running a 10-race schedule in tandem with the WeatherTech Championship.
IMSA PROTOTYPE CHALLENGE
The IMSA Prototype Challenge series is a multi-class platform for future IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship drivers and veteran drivers alike. Entering its 16th season, IMSA Prototype Challenge features two classes in 2021 with six races – all one hour and 45 minutes in length – held on North America’s premier road courses. The series will continue to feature the global-spec LMP3-1 and LMP3-2 prototypes. The endurance format pairs two drivers per car.
FERRARI CHALLENGE NORTH AMERICA
A single-model championship series developed by Ferrari for clients who have a passion for racing, the Ferrari Challenge North America has thrilled drivers and fans alike since its inception in 1993. Bringing its professionalism and pedigree to the track, the Challenge runs on the most beautiful and renowned circuits in the world and is designed to allow clients to enjoy themselves and their cars in a competitive and safe environment. LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO
As one of three Super Trofeo series worldwide, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series is entering its ninth season. The series provides the perfect first race experience for professional and amateur drivers in the 620-horsepower Huracán Super Trofeo EVO. Each of the six event weekends includes two 50-minute races, culminating at the Lamborghini World Finals in October at Italy’s Misano circuit.
MAZDA MX-5 CUP
The Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires is the signature spec series for Mazda Motorsports. The MX-5 Cup champion earns a $250,000 scholarship at season’s end. MX-5 Cup is being sanctioned by IMSA for the first time in 2021. Each of the series’ eight event weekends in 2021 – run as a companion to either the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship or IndyCar events – features a pair of 45-minute races.
PORSCHE CARRERA CUP NORTH AMERICA
Porsche Carrera Cup is one of the preeminent one-make racing series in the world that will make its North American debut this year under IMSA sanctioning. Due in no small part to the emphasis placed squarely on the driver’s skill. Every single car competing in Porsche Carrera Cup is identical. Same make. Same model. Same generation. With no technical advantage between cars, driver talent and team are what claim the podium.
