Multiyear Extensions Reached with All Three Corporate Partners
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) today announced it reached an agreement to extend three of the sanctioning organization’s Official Partners: CrowdStrike, Skip Barber Racing School and TSM-Model. Each extension is for multiple years and includes expanded roles for each of the partners.
CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader, has been an IMSA Official Partner since 2022. With an early extension, CrowdStrike will expand upon its successful CXO Summits, hosting additional events in conjunction with IMSA race weekends. Featuring roundtable discussions with C-level cybersecurity leaders, attendees also enjoy a weekend IMSA VIP Experience at the track. In addition, CrowdStrike has expanded its sponsorship of the Endurance, Teamwork and Speed Award to include all IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship events, as well as the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series.
Skip Barber Racing School has been teaching pros, amateurs and everyday drivers alike how to be better drivers for nearly 50 years and is the “Official Racing School of IMSA.” With the expanded agreement, Skip Barber will now support the IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship program, as well as launch a program introducing top karters to IMSA as they pursue the next step in their career. The school’s slogan, “Where Drivers Become Champions,” is not without reason as its 400,000-strong alumni list includes IMSA champions such as Colin Braun, Ricky Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers.
TSM-Model, a producer of premier diecast race car models, has been an IMSA partner since 2021. With demand increasing dramatically for quality IMSA diecasts in a range of sizes, the extension with IMSA assures that TSM-Model is up to the challenge of producing these highly sought, prized replicas of the real racing cars of IMSA. Fans can expect to see a larger variety of TSM-Model diecast available at the Team IMSA Store both at-track and online.
“The momentum in and around IMSA continues to grow, and these extensions with three of our Official Partners is more proof of that,” said IMSA Vice President, Partnership Marketing, Brandon Huddleston. “We’re very pleased to continue our relationships with CrowdStrike, Skip Barber Racing School and TSM-Model. Each has been an instrumental partner thus far and we’re eager to see what the future holds with all three in IMSA.
“IMSA is coming off a record-setting year in 2023 in so many areas, and we kicked off the 2024 season with a record crowd for the Rolex 24 At Daytona. With 18 original equipment automobile manufacturers competing throughout our different racing series, IMSA provides the ultimate marketing platform for those OEMs and other important partners like CrowdStrike, Skip Barber Racing School and TSM-Model.”
The next race on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Schedule is the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Cadillac, March 13-16 at Sebring International Raceway.
