HSR Classic Watkins Glen 6 Hour Winners Look for Repeat HSR Classic Endurance Championship Presented by Mission Foods Victories This Weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
Second Annual HSR Classic Road Atlanta 10 Hour presented by Mission Foods and HSR Fall Historics Return to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta September 16 – 20
BRASELTON, Georgia – Three Run Group winners from the opening round of the Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) Classic Endurance Championship presented by Mission Foods at Watkins Glen International roll into Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this weekend looking for repeat 2026 victories at the HSR Road Atlanta Classic 10 Hour presented by Mission Foods and the HSR Fall Historics, September 16 – 20.
Both the second round of the 2026 HSR Classic Endurance Championship and the second annual running of the Classic 10 Hour, this weekend’s featured race follows this past June’s opening round at the HSR Watkins Glen Classic 6 Hour presented by Mission Foods at Watkins Glen International in New York.
Among The Glen winners continuing their 2026 Endurance Championship pursuits at Road Atlanta are David Agretelis, who claimed Group A & Vintage GT honors aboard the 1972 No. 66 Porsche 911 S/T from the 901 Shop. He will be joined by fellow 901 Shop stablemate Ben Myers, the Group C and Modern GT winner, in his 2017 No. 29 Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup.
Rounding out the Watkins Glen winners are Pierce Marshall and Eric Foss, who captured Group D and Modern Prototype honors aboard the No. 01 Matador Motorsports 2017 Cadillac DPi. The duo looks to become a two-time winner of the HSR Classic 10 Hour.
Both Agretelis and the Marshall and Foss duo are inaugural season HSR Classic Endurance Cup Champions after capturing their respective class titles in the first year of the championship in 2025.
The first major endurance race championship in the U.S. for vintage and historic sports cars, the HSR Classic Endurance Championship presented by Mission Foods features four “tribute events” celebrating the biggest and longest-running sports car endurance races in the United States. The Glen opener and the Classic Road Atlanta 10 hour will be followed by November’s HSR Classic Daytona 24 Hour and December’s season-ending HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour, both races presented by Mission Foods.
A five-day event Wednesday, September 16 through Sunday, September 20, the HSR Fall Historics side of the full weekend features a robust list of HSR feature races, all part of HSR’s season-long racing series and points championships.
The Fall Historics feature races include the B.R.M Endurance Challenge Modern and Legacy one-hour enduros, the SascoSports International-American Challenge presented by Hoosier sprint, the one-hour Mission GT Challenge presented by Pirelli race and the 90-minute HSR Prototype Challenge presented by Michelin enduro. Additionally, doubleheader sprint races for all Run Groups throughout the weekend are part of the weekend’s packed schedule.
The weekend’s main event, however, is the actual HSR Road Atlanta Classic 10 Hour presented by Mission Foods that will be run over the course of Saturday and Sunday in a symbolic nearly 10 hours of racing. Run Groups A/B, C and D will each contest three 42-minute races across the two days, with Groups A and B competing simultaneously during their respective race segments.
Saturday’s schedule features the opening pair of races for each group, beginning with the combined A/B race at Noon EDT and concluding with Group D’s second segment of the day at 5 p.m. EDT. One final round for each Run Group Sunday afternoon starting at 1:15 p.m. EDT will determine this year’s HSR Classic 10 Hour winners.
