TRACKPASS on NBC SPORTS GOLD IMSA-SPECIFIC FAQs

1. What IMSA content is included with TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold?
TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold will feature live streaming of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and IMSA Prototype Challenge races.

2. Does a fan have to log in with a cable TV package to use NBC Sports Gold?
No. NBC Sports Gold does not require a cable TV subscription.

3. What does this mean if I have a cable/satellite/etc. subscription to watch WeatherTech Championship races?
There is no change in how you can watch WeatherTech Championship races on either the NBC Sports App or NBCSports.com. Your authenticated account is all you need. You will also still be able to watch the segments of the endurance races that are only available on those two platforms.

4. If I have a cable/satellite/etc. subscription, will I be able to access the live Michelin Pilot Challenge and IMSA Prototype Challenge races through TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold?
No. You will need a separate subscription to TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold to watch live.

5. Will Michelin Pilot Challenge and IMSA Prototype Challenge races still be available on IMSA.tv?
Not in the United States, they will be only streamed live on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold. However, they will still be available on IMSA.tv internationally.

6. What about streaming and/or watching Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama and Lamborghini Super Trofeo?
These races will still be streamed live on IMSA.tv as they have been in the past. They will be broadcast on NBCSN on a delayed basis as they were in 2019.

7. What about WeatherTech Championship qualifying?
This will still be streamed live on IMSA.tv.

8. What about in-car camera coverage during WeatherTech Championship races?
These will still be available on the IMSA App for free or on the IMSA Facebook page during WeatherTech Championship races.

9. Will all of these races still be posted on IMSA’s YouTube Channel?
Yes. As in the past, the WeatherTech Championship races will be posted the Thursday after the race is run. All of the other series will be posted 48 hours following its broadcast on NBCSN.

10. How does this effect viewers of these series outside of the United States?
There is no change for international viewers from where they watched in 2019.

11. I thought there already was a TrackPass?
TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold is different from NASCAR TrackPass. TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold is a standalone streaming service available to subscribers in the U.S. For international users click here to learn more about NASCAR TrackPass.

12. What else is part of TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold?
Besides IMSA content, TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold features the best of grassroots racing and high-speed action from American Flat Track, ARCA and more, as well as select NASCAR Productions documentaries.

14. What is the cost to purchase TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold?
TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold will have multiple subscription options.

For the entire TrackPass package:  $4.99 Monthly or $44.99 for an Annual pass.

For the IMSA Package:
$2.99 Monthly or $19.99 for an Annual pass.

For the NASCAR Roots package (which includes ARCA Series, Whelen Modified Tour, grassroots racing and select NASCAR Practice and Qualifying):
$2.99 Monthly or $19.99 for an Annual pass.

For the AFT Package, an introductory rate for 2020:
$1.99 Monthly or $10.99 for an Annual pass.

15. What are some of the TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold enhancements?
Users will now be able to “cast” the stream to a connected device. This will allow fans to watch in a big-screen environment if they had not been doing so in the past. Stability and user experience will greatly improve as NBC is on the leading edge of streaming technology and trends, which translates to a higher quality stream and more reliable streaming.

16. How will I be able to watch races?
TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold is available on iOS and Android phones and tablets, desktop web browsers, Apple TV (Gen 4), Roku, Amazon Fire TV, AndroidTV, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex and Chromecast devices connected via HDMI.

17. What are the minimum web browser and/or hardware requirements for viewing video on NBC Sports Gold?
The latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge (Please note we do not support IE11 on Windows 7).

Internet Requirements:
Broadband connection with at least 5Mbps download speed

18. Can a fan purchase a live stream on a race-by-race basis?
No. TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold races are only available for streaming as part of the monthly or annual subscription package.

19. What is the difference between NBC Sports Gold and NBC Sports App?
NBC Sports Gold is a standalone streaming service that is purchased online directly from NBC Sports Group with no cable TV package required. NBC Sports App is included as part of your paid cable TV package (a cable package with NBCSN is required).
