2026 NON-EDITORIAL MEDIA LICENSING POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Looking ahead to 2026, we would like to remind you of IMSA's at-track photo/video policies and procedures as well as agreement fees and deadlines for submission.
Please review and/or share the 2026 IMSA Video and Photo Agreement information via the link below. We encourage you to share this link with any non-media photographer or videographer coming to capture materials during any IMSA event. IMSA reserves the right to update deadlines and/or fees at any time, at our discretion.
Any team, driver, partner – or any third party hired on their behalf – intending to shoot video and/or photos during an event weekend must have a fully-executed photo, access and/or video license agreement in place with IMSA, provide the required insurance (where applicable), pay for their agreement fees and/or additional credential requests and submit crew lists prior to posted deadlines.
An agreement between a team or driver and anyone offering fee-free video or photography services is prohibited. There are inherent risks involved with shooting at-track, so experienced shooters with an executed licensing agreement and insurance (where applicable) are required.
Video or photos may not be used in advertising, used in any way to imply commercial endorsement or sponsorship, or for any other commercial use, without a separate Commercial Agreement, which will contain additional fees. Distribution to third parties (i.e. sponsors, suppliers, etc.) is prohibited without a separate agreement.
All vested photographers and videographers must register through each track for parking and access to their media centers, generally a month preceding any event. In addition, they must attend a mandatory photo meeting prior to each event in order to receive a vest. This information will be provided by IMSA in advance of the event.
If a team or driver uses a photographer or videographer at an IMSA event without signing the required 2026 media licensing agreement after being emailed the information, a $1,000 fee will be charged, plus applicable agreement fees.
If the above guidelines are not followed, IMSA and the venue retain the right to confiscate credentials.
Single event and season-long Video and Photo Agreements will include one (1) credential/vest per agreement. Approval of additional credential/vest requests are at IMSA’s discretion and will be charged additional fees as posted.
For The Roar Before The Rolex 24 and/or The Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, videographers, production companies and photographers are expected to submit their completed information form to Nancy Green at [email protected] no later than Monday, Dec. 1 to coordinate a photo, access and/or license agreement. The deadline to have a signed agreement in place is Monday, Dec. 8 at 5 pm ET. Requests outside of these timelines will incur an expediting fee or may not be honored. Deadlines for all events may be found here.
Live streaming of any footage during IMSA-sanctioned events is expressly prohibited.
Video services are available through IMSA Productions at competitive rates. Contact David Tibbitt at [email protected] to learn more.
Video requests from our footage library, housed by NASCAR Media Ventures (NMV), require an agreement with IMSA first. Additionally, NMV charges $150 per hour (with a 2-hour minimum) for search and pull fees. Contact [email protected] to begin that process if/when needed.
Please direct all inquiries regarding video licensing and/or photo agreements to Nancy Green ([email protected]).
